ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our busy Sales and Marketing Team. With experience in B2B marketing (preferably within a technology environment), you will bring fresh ideas on how we can drive leads into our sales pipeline from both existing customers and new logos. You will equally be confident in planning and implementing marketing activity, with experience across the entire marketing mix including digital, PR, events, campaign management, social media and content marketing.
Location:
Hybrid (this is a remote role with occasional in-office work and travel requirements) (the successful candidate is ideally based in/within commuting distance from our Dundee or Aberdeen office, but we are also happy to consider those based in/near Manchester)
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Working closely with the acting Senior Marketing Manager, you will:
- Design and execute marketing campaigns that drive leads into the sales pipeline from customers and new prospects
- Identify exciting opportunities and suitable media to promote Brightsolid and our activities to stakeholders, clients and influencers
- Manage Brightsolid’s internal communications activity to ensure all of our colleagues are informed and engaged
- Provide support to the acting Senior Marketing Manager and other Sales and Marketing colleagues as necessary
- Create powerful sales and marketing tools and collateral (for example: success stories, videos and infographics)
- Effectively work across sales and marketing tools including Salesforce and Pardot
- Provide monthly reports and/or feedback to the Sales and Marketing Team

- Experience of developing and implementing marketing and communications plans
- Experience in B2B technology marketing roles
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritise and perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Outstanding written communication skills
- Experience of social media orchestration
- Excellent people skills and an upbeat, enthusiastic attitude

- Ability to lead successful work streams or projects
- Strong knowledge of technology business trends, drivers and best practices

This is a full-time, temporary position on a 12-month fixed-term contract (covering maternity leave). You will be working 35 hours per week and will be based from Brightsolid’s Dundee, Aberdeen or Manchester office, with the opportunity to work remotely and flexibly. There are occasional in-office requirements as well as work-related travel commitments.
